Throughout the writing process, Jody will meet with members of your team to gather necessary information, allow you to share your vision, and describe the services you offer or would like to offer. The goal is for your team to read the grant proposal upon completion and see your vision come to light. The ideas and creativity come from your agency – they are simply put into words for you and integrated into the requirements of the grant application.
Grant Management
Grant Management refers to the action steps required after grant funds are received. Each funder has their own requirements for grant reporting. Grant Management Services include:

Maintaining a tracking spreadsheet of grant funds received

Working with the agency to collect necessary data to full-fill the reporting requirements of the grant to ensure compliance to the grant agreement

Being vigilant of grant reporting deadlines to ensure grant reports are submitted in a timely manner

Supporting the agency in ensuring they are not doing more work than necessary in tracking data, yet ensuring the necessary data is collected to fulfill reporting requirements

Supporting the agency in having meaningful connections with funders to increase the likelihood of future funding
Capacity Building through Training, Agency Assessment and Consultation

Grant Review and Mentoring
Do you have an individual in-house who would be writing the proposal, but may need some mentoring and review of their proposal prior to submission? As a grant reviewer for the Federal Government and local foundations, Jody can provide your agency with the peace of mind of a solid proposal - drawing upon her grant review experience to conduct a thorough review of the proposal/grant application.
Grant Review and Mentoring Service includes:

An initial virtual introductory meeting with the individual who will be writing the proposal and any other identified agency representatives

Partnering with the individual to create a timeline for completing the proposal that will build in time for review

A thorough review of the grant parameters/funding opportunity announcement to guide the review of the proposal

An initial feedback session with the individual offering recommendations/edits of the first draft, followed by a second feedback session of the second draft (and additional feedback sessions until a final draft is achieved)

Guidance in the packaging of the proposal, if required

Review of the final packaged proposal prior to submission

Timely consult available to the individual by telephone or tele-video throughout the process

A written feedback summary after submission summarizing areas of perceived strengths and potential areas for growth
Fee Structure
See subscription options under Plans and Pricing.. Outside of subscription packages, all grant/proposal related services are $75/hr. After the free initial consult, an estimated number of hours to complete the proposal will be provided. For training services, a rate will be provided after the initial consult.
